ThanksStinging Nettle (Urtica dioica) is a multi-use plant, in other words it gives and gives as both food, medicine and fiber. The seeds of the Nettle plant in their medicinal form such as a tincture are toning to the endrocrine system and also considered a tropho-restorative for the adrenal glands and kidneys; this means they will help rebuild the function of these glands and organs. Energetically this plant is warming and drying. Dosages vary depending on use, this tincture is best taken early in the day, morning or noon at a dose of 1/4 tsp. For many people, the use of natural medicines is an odyssey of learning about themselves. Finding the "right dose" of a particular plant for your body is a lesson and you learn to pay attention to little nuances and signals your body gives you when you have taken too much or not enough. For this reason the dosages on the bottle and website are rather vague. This is to help you find the smallest effective dose for your body. Why take more medicine than you need, right!
