Neat c. 1900 Victorian Black Cut Velvet DOLL Coat & Bonnet, Antique

Description: First off let me say that I put the bonnet and coat together....while not original to each other, both are Victorian, antique originals....c. 1900....coat was definitely made for a larger doll (I took it off a German bisque head doll), however the bonnet was likely made for a baby....coat is made of cut velvet with an all-over floral pattern and feels like a cotton/silk blend as it has some sheen to it (and was difficult to photograph for that reason)....coat was never lined, however the inside edges were finished in navy silk facing which is in good condition....coat closes with three hooks and eyes up the bodice....bonnet is definitely cotton velvet and slightly blacker than the coat....bonnet is fully lined and neatly-made....very good, age-appropriate condition....some discoloration/lightening of the black velvet coat, mostly on one shoulder and attached sleeve, as shown in the photos....top hook (at the neck) needs reinforcement....bonnet is also very good, however the pink silk ribbon adornment is fragile/melting and could use replacement ribbon ties....from a non-smoking and pet-free home....please study all photos, feel free to ask questions, and be sure to check out my other interesting antique auctions! Measurements: 1) Coat: approximately 19" from shoulder to hem, 7" across the shoulder, 6 1/2" down each sleeve, and 2" across each cuff (4" total cuff circumference 2) Bonnet: approximately 7 1/2" down the brim when flat (15" total brim circumference) and 4" cross the neck band (8" total neck circumference) A note about shipping: I list all items with a five-day handling time due to my work schedule, however ship as quickly as possible.
