Description: For sale is a 6" pewter letter opener by Sinclair Mfg Co from the Nautilus series. This 6" long opener features a pewter handle, embossed (indented) with a duck and her three ducklings, with a beveled blade. A debossed (raised) nautilus decorates the handle between the embossed ducks and blade, The edge of the handle is detailed with a Meander (Greek key) motif on the three edges with a brush texture on the reverse. This piece is in very good condition with no damage and gentle wear commensurate with age. It is marked for Sinclair on the reverse with 1979 copyright date.
