Mabe pearls are pearls attached to inside of shell and not round or loose. This single side of a shell measures 6 1/4" x 4 1/4". The pearl is long shaped. I am pointing to it in a photos. There are also some tiny pearls below it. The shell exhibits lovely rainbow of colors on the mother-of-pearl inside with a pinkish hue.
