If carico lake material of this size and quality exist, they are museum pieces or are firmly staying put in Mr. Montoya's personal collection. This glorious piece showcases a huge carico lake turquoise cabochon (1.5" diameter and .25" thick) in the most coveted vibrant lime green coloration. It's so saturated and bright, it's nearly neon. And because carico lake material is so hard right out of the ground, the stone is completely untreated. The polish is likewise incredible... a mirror shine. It is set alongside a beautiful in its own right kingman birdseye turquoise cabochon. This piece is also unstabilized, which is rare for kingman material these days. The color is a pure, vivid blue and the black matrix is dispersed evenly across the entire stone. These two stunning turquoise cabs are set in a heavy-weight sterling silver pendant with a highly-polished finish. It measures just over 4" long (including bail) and approximately 1.75" wide.
