It is a hand stone hand ax with smooth surfaces, a hefty butt and tapered head. It has a shallow groove around the entire midsection. This enable to user to efficiently and confidently grip the tool when in use. It is a large heavy ax measuring approximately 6 1/4" x 5 3/4".
