In 1952, the parish launched a nursery school, and in 1963, they purchased Magnolia Hall, an antebellum home in Natchez, from Mrs. George Armstrong. By the fall of 1964, both nursery and kindergarten classes were held there. The school expanded in 1965, adding first grade, and continued growing in 1966 with the inclusion of second through fifth grades. Further development followed, and in 1969, the congregation voted to expand the school again. A new high school building was constructed south of Natchez on U.S. Highway 61, on land donated by Frederick Schurchardt, with the building designed and built by William Howard Pritchartt, Jr. The fall semester of 1969 saw the opening of the new facility, offering classes from preschool through eighth grade. Ninth and tenth grades were introduced in the spring of 1970, accompanied by the construction of a new elementary school building. Trinity Episcopal Day School graduated its first class in 1971.
