The blade is made from tool steel and then hardened to RC 45. The blades are stitched with a CNC machine which produces a uniform tooth pattern and height allowing for a steady removal rate and an even finish. This is considered a coarse cut rasp with 16 teeth per square centimeter. The handle is 5 3/4" long, 1 1/2" in diameter and has a solid brass ferrule. Handle is made hard and dense Hornbeam. Blade is 20 mm (13/16") wide by 5 mm (3/16") thick and 200 mm (8") long. Overall length is 345 mm (14").
