Description: West Coast Deluxe: The NBA/Cabernet Adventure for four (two couples) begins on Thursday, March 27, 2025, with their arrival in Sacramento, CA. Accommodations for the night will be two spacious Queen Premium guest rooms at the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel in downtown Sacramento, adjacent to the Golden 1 Center. Luxurious and sophisticated, the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel is a great place from which to explore Sacramento’s lively yet walkable downtown. That evening, the foursome will enjoy courtside, second-row “owner seats” for NBA excitement, when the Sacramento Kings play the Portland Trail Blazers at the Golden 1 Center. These ultra-premium seats include access to the exclusive BackStage Lounge, which offers complimentary house wine and beer, complimentary food, and complimentary desserts. A VIP parking pass to the garage directly under the Golden 1 Center will also be provided for the group’s rental car (car rental is not included in the package). The next morning, the group will drive west to the city of Napa. There they will check into the Senza Hotel Napa Valley—where two Vineyard King Suite guest rooms await—for two nights. This boutique hotel combines vineyard vistas, luxurious appointments and thoughtful amenities. After getting settled, it is off to Arch & Tower: Robert Mondavi Winery, situated in downtown Napa. Here they will be treated to the To Kalon Collective Experience, an exclusive tasting featuring cabernet sauvignons from Schrader, To Kalon Vineyard Company, Double Diamond, and Robert Mondavi Winery, all sourced from Napa Valley’s legendary To Kalon Vineyard. Following the tasting, the group will move to the dining room—usually open only for lunch, but on this night open just for them—for very special dinner. On Saturday, March 29, the foursome will visit two of the Napa Valley’s most coveted cabernet sauvignon producers. DANA Estates, on Rutherford Bench, will host them for a morning tour of its historic, beautifully refurbished stone winery and a Portfolio Exploration tasting featuring single-vineyard cabernet sauvignons. The afternoon destination will be OVID Napa Valley, now owned by the Duncan family of Silver Oak Cellars fame. Here they will enjoy a private winery tour, followed by a unique private tasting in OVID’s spectacular “great room” overlooking the Napa Valley. The second night’s stay at the Senza Hotel Napa Valley will provide an opportunity to dine at one of the region’s superb restaurants.
