Description: This is a copy of Nancy Drew #14 The Whispering Statue. Copyright 1937. It is in GOOD condition. There are multiple inscriptions written inside: on the left front endpaper in black marker, on the right front endpaper crossed off in black marker, in pencil and then in red ink on the right front endpaper, and in black marker on the right rear endpaper along with pencil scrawling. There's even a name and address on the blank page after the right endpaper. There is shelfwear on the edges and bumping on the corners, with some of the underlying cardboard showing through. The outer edges of the pages are stained. There is scuffing on the back cover, and 19 of the titles on the back cover have x's either in front of the title or after the title. 16 of the titles on the back cover are crossed out. There is a brown stain, about 1/8" high by 1/2" wide, on the spine near the author's name. Nancy is STANDING BEHIND A TREE on the back cover. The last title on the back cover is The Mystery of the Fire Dragon. There are 25 chapters. I am happy to combine on shipping.
