The i stands for improved, although the circuit is the original 3020 design in a low profile case and a redesign of the delay mute circuitry. The ‘i’ version is the last in the 3020 line of development. The NAD 3020i is capable of driving difficult loads with complex impedance characteristics such as bookshelf loudspeakers. A headphone jack is available on front panel. This Nad sounds musical and controlled with very low noise levels.
