Description: A beautifully delicate, feminine piece of collectible Czech porcelain from MZ Altrohlau.Soft pastel shades of green, blue and yellow bleed together for an almost watercolor effect.One lovely pink flower with leaves is the feature detail. Gold rim is in very good shape.Can be used for purely decorative reasons or for practical purposes as a bud vase. 2" wide at widest point4.75" tall The mark on the bottom identifies the piece as a work done in the factory of Moritz Zdekauer in Altrohlau (today in the Czech Republic, but, back then, belonging to the Habsburg Empire). It was in operation between 1884 and 1909, changing the name of the brand to MZ Altrohlau in 1909 and continuing on until 1945. They were nationalized after World War II, and continued production under the name Starorolsky Porcelan Mortiz Zdekauer. Please refer to each photo.
