Description: MUTT AND JEFF #3 (DC 1941). ** This issue has no publishing date or issue number printed on the book. Issue numbering began with #5. This magazine appeared at news stands in the summer of 1941. Features MUTT & JEFF strips created by the great HARRY "BUD" FISHER. Also some "CICERO'S CAT strips by FISHER. Artwork by BUD FISHER and AL SMITH. This book features a two page biography of Bud Fisher on the inside covers with photo. This book is "very-hard-to-find" and is rarely offered for sale when found. VERY GOOD (4.0) condition. This is a sound copy of this book with excellent color and some of the original luster. The spine shows some wear with chewing at the top and bottom and tears at the original staple locations. This book has been RE-STAPLED, just above each of the original staple locations. The cover is fully detached at both original staples but the staples firmly bind all interior pages (centerfold photo provided). The cover shows thin soiled stripes at the bottom and right edges. On the back cover there is some foxing at the edges. The inside covers show some foxing and the first and last interior page feature some soiling. Otherwise, the interior pages look white.
