This is a three corner (triangular) file with a slight taper - gives a very smooth final surface. Any of the three corners can be used. Gives buzz-free support to each string. Overall length of 6". The technique is simple - simply increase the number of filing strokes as you move up in string size. In other words, to file the high E slot, use 2 strokes of the File. For the B string, use 3 strokes. You'll be surprised at how easily and quickly you can slot a nut. Works great for any nut material - plastic, bone, brass, Tusq...
