Purchased from Mulberry's Covent Garden store in 2012, carried as an everyday bag, without doubt one of the most comfortable and easy to use bags I've ever used. Lightweight, spacious and durable, it has the bonus of a crossbody strap that loops through to double for shoulder carry, and sits easily and trimly at your side (or under your arm as preferred). Opens with front flap and magnetic closure with tab. The Soft Spongy leather is soft and smooshy but quite robust, so you don't need to worry about what the weather is doing. Petrol is a gorgeous marine blue color that shows beautifully in this glossy, supple leather, and has aged beautifully on this bag. The dustbag and care card were lost in a move, but I will send something to store the bag in. It has been stored in a smoke free home. *The main wear on the bag is scratching and tarnishing on the hardware, most noticeably on the front metal cut out plaque but also on the rivets and rings and strap clasp. This is something Daria plaques are known for, especially on the gunmetal variety. There is also fading/discoloration of the interior suede of the front flap. The strap also shows some wear, but nothing dramatic. The interior is lined in black grosgrain fabric, with one open slip pocket and one zippered pocket, all in good and clean condition. Black Made in Turkey label, round metal tag with registration number, Mulberry stamped hardware all present and correct. I guarantee that this bag is authentic Mulberry.
