ALL HARDWARE IS INCLUDED IN THIS KIT FOR FAST, EASY, AND SIMPLE INSTALLATION. This MSD cap and coil kit was mounted to a 1987 corvette for only 3 days. After 3 days, I decided to swap out my entire distributor for a Davis Unified Ignition distributor and the new distributor came with a new cap, and coil so I no longer need this kit. This kit is still basically brand new. It has been installed, and tested. It is confirmed that it works as it should. The MSD 80243 cap is sold new as an (L clamp style) distributor cap. I modified this cap for you to now be a screw down style distributor cap to fit all 1984-1991 corvette distributors with (screw down) style distributor caps. This kit includes the MSD cap, rotor, rotor bushing (msd 8412), and coil dust cover. Also includes a pertronix flame thrower 50,000 volt coil. If you were to purchase this MSD 80243 cap, and the petronix flamethrower coil part number D3001 brand new it would cost youabout $200 for both parts. Purchase both of these parts in my listing that is ready to screw down to your stock GM distributor for only $95. My loss is your gain.
