Description: If unique and distinctive is what you truly seek, then here it is; a heavy VINTAGE, 8 individually unique geometric reticulated barrel / sausage shaped links Bracelet of 925 sterling silver marked "Taxco MPC .925 Mexico" and also marked with an eagle mark "1" . This bracelet is constructed of 7 barrel link shaped links with an 8th link created when the ends are connected to close it. What really makes the bracelet distinctive is that each link has a distinct raised geometric motif unique from all the others. All I can say is "nice!" Since this listing there has been an inquiry regarding the reddish/brown coloring showing in the recesses of the geometric designs of each individual barrel link. This color is more pronounced in the pictures than in person. In person that coloring is darker in appearance. Upon closer inspection I was able to see that the coloring is an applied matte enamel-like coating, giving a niello effect but not as dark. The impact/effect is that the reddish/brown finish highlights,accentuates, and adds depth to the detail of the unique designs on each of the 8 barrels that form the bracelet. This is not rust.
