They are not stretchy and worn loose. Be advised that just like a bride's wedding dress, your gown has to be altered as well with a professional seamstress. It is better to order a size larger, for if you gain a few pounds (heavens, no!), the dress can still fit. If you order the size you are now and today, if you lose weight--the dress can be taken in.
