Description: Mosin Nagant WWII era stock. She was beat to pieces, big gouges and the finish flaking off all over. So, all the gouges were filled with a special birch filler (stock and handguard), only sanded the portions with filler to retain the original grain. It has 5 coats of "Russian red" shellac applied to it (cut from imported flakes!). I left all of the handling marks on the wood (looks authentic, Mosin's were NEVER perfect!), and it was buffed between each coat and polished. I was going to use this to find a "Sporter" and bring it back, but never found one for the right price, so I thought let someone else use it! Now, FULL disclosure (I see most sellers don't give one here!): It had a crack at the front end by the cap, it was repaired. It has TWO arsenal repairs (one you can see, one you cannot, both on the front end) There is NOT a "refurb stamp on the stock, nor any cartouches (I didn't cover, remove any) This has the escutcheons front and rear, and the center bolt. NO OTHER METAL HARDWARE IS INCLUDED! This is for sale on other sites, so I reserve the right to END the auction early UNLESS it is bid on here.
