Description: Fabulous Moses basket charm. Made during the 1920s, this superb miniature still contains its baby and the intricate enamel work is in very good condition. Made of 800 silver (standard in Egypt in that era) with gilt finish, note that the gilding has faded and tarnished somewhat on the outside, hence the baby and interior being brighter 'gold'. The hinge is in good working order and the clasp clips closed nicely. Wonderful to find a charm of this age still with the baby in situ.
