This is Registered Collection Buckle #M-B787, a Montana U.S. Bicentennial Commemorative Buckle with signed artwork by Artist Bob Scriver, from 1976. It is a heavier, solid brass buckle with a darkened accents, made by Heritage Mint Ltd., for Montana Banco Banks, the Historical Society, and the Bicentennial Administration. It is in pretty decent condition, as shown in the photos it does have some tarnish / patina and some wear and tear from age or use. It measures approximately 3-3/8" x 2-1/2", it fits a 1-3/4" wide belt and it weighs about 5.8 oz.
