Description: Monogram (or Revell?)1955 Chevrolet 2-Door HardtopDrag / Gasser / Street Machine (1/24) Built '55 Chevy two-door hardtop (no post) drag / gasser builtup that I acquired from a large collection of builtups. It has clear glass (not tinted red), a straight front axle, and a clear hood scoop. I believe these features make it one of the later 'Street Machine' issues of the 1/24 scale Monogram kit that originally came out as the 'Badman' car, but am not 100% sure. Kit is built fairly well, with spray painted body in a brown / root beer color and no decaling (paint has some flattening / roughness in spots), and the large clear hood scoop. There is no front bumper or spoiler on it. The silver trim is painted on. It is somewhat dusty, and there are a few imperfections here and there.Chassis, interior with drag bucket seats and rollbar, and engine with blower and bugcatcher are built relatively well, with paint.Wheels are slotted mags. There are no side mirrors on the car.I will pack the car very carefully, but as this is an old and fragile builtup, pieces may fall off during shipping and need to be re-attached on arrival.
