Description: For sale is this Monogram 1:24 scale plastic model kit of the 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SLR W196 S race car as it appeared for the 1955 Mille Miglia in Italy, where the car won with driver Stirling Moss and navigator Denis Jenkinson with number 722. The model kit is a must-have and must-build for any auto racing fan or admirer of all things Mercedes-Benz. The 300SLR is the car that Mercedes-Benz ran for all of the 1955 World Sportscar Championship season races, including the infamous 1955 24 hours of Le Mans. The kit has been opened and I started to work on the car's body, but all parts are present, and the kit is complete, and unassembled. I am including with this listing spare chassis parts, a spare clear plastic glass set, a spare wheel set, a spare engine, and two extra decal sheets that I obtained from two other incomplete kits of the same.
