Description: You are bidding on a mint restored black 1981 Mongoose it has; Pro neck black quill stem Pro neck seat clamp gold Pro neck power ring black Pro neck sprocket black Diacomp brake and handle gold 1 piece black cranks 170mm Bottom bracket with ball bearings all black Headset with ball bearings in black 20 inch carbon composite Skyway mags Kenda tires and tubes Chain in black Black Blackcat freewheel Mongoose grips Zeronine number plate 81 Mongoose reproduction sticker kit Found this bike here on eBay and it was in poor condition and was a rare black frame. The frame was sandblasted then black and clear powder coat was done for durability. The bike is set up as an early racer., and is built from the parts listed above. The serial number had been ground away and I cannot positively ID the exact details of the frame. The bike is a team but has a Supergoose sticker that was in the 81 decal kit. I will find the proper “mongoose” sticker and purchase it and put it on before the bike ships. I am very firm on the price as I have more into the bike than asking. I will ship in the US only, local pickup is ok too . Comes with another black fluted seatpost and an extra headset in black.
