Description: Yale University, New Haven, 1975. Soft cover. First Edition (NAP). Once listed, this will be the only original copy of the book for sale anywhere on the Internet. There are a few copies for sale of a reprint published in 1990. Written in part by Joseph E. Coleman (Dept. Molecular Biophysics And Biochemistry Yale University). At the bottom of the copyright page it states "This is not a publication and is to be used as a teaching aid within Yale University. No part of the syllabus can be reproduced without permission of the author". Dr. Coleman was involved in research on protein chemistry, enzymology and DNA-protein interactions. He authored more than 150 scientific articles on these and other subjects. "Dr. Coleman developed the area of knowledge we now have about the chemistry of metalloproteins and was a leader in the use of nuclear magnetic resonance for the study of biomolecules," says his colleague William H. Konigsberg, professor of molecular biophysics and biochemistry. If you look at the photograph of the title page you will see Dr. Konigsberg's name and topic, as well as several other professors. This book was owned by Mahlon R. Soloway, an ophthalmologist in New Mexico, who got his medical degree from Yale. It came from the home of his father, Sidney Soloway, a biophysicist out of Harvard. Mahlon R. Soloway's name is printed at the top right-hand corner of the front cover.
