Great for an overhead camera, security/surveillance unit, or alternative to the usual webcam options. Camera has a sturdy metal body and is in great condition, no real signs of wear or tear. Camera can be connected over USB 3.0 up to 1080p at 30 fps, or over HDMI up to 4K at 30 frames per second. Included in the setup is an Aida 12MP 5mm f/1.7 CS-mount lens with manual exposure and focus controls (a purchase of $85 on its own from Adorama). Very sharp with the 12MP lens - even can manage some respectable depth-of-field - and outperforms most any webcam in the price range. Includes dedicated power supply and a 6-foot USB-to-USB cable for connecting directly to a computer (HDMI connectivity requires a capture card or interface).
