Description: This is the April issue of MODERN SCREEN from 1948 with a photo cover of ESTHER WILLIAMS along with full page ,full color phots on the inside of GAIL RUSSELL, and HOWARD SUFF, Condition is Good/Very Good The cover gloss is decent with Moderate reading wearand soiling, white covers are hard to find in clean condition. The major issues with this on is a tear on the right side extending from her hair to the "N" in Screen , also a piece missing from the right edge where her ear would be. The right corners are decent The spine shows moderate wear with loss of paper, especially in the lower third. There is a 3" spine split at the upper spine. There are small pieces of paper missing from the top and bottom of the spine. The back cover is has light soiling. Pages are supple and off-white.
