Description: Minox cameras are famous for their use by spies. The camera focuses as close as 8" so it can copy documents. The chain has knots at regular intervals to assist in obtaining sharp focus at short distances. The lens is a 15mm f/3.5. The selenium meter in this camera appears to be dead. Minox film is scarce to impossible to find. Therefore I recommend this camera as a Collectible rather than a User. Nevertheless it is in Excellent cosmetic condition. It comes with its leather case. I think there may be a roll of film in the camera. I have no idea what if any images are on the film. The lens aperture is fixed at f/3.5. Because of its short focal length ( mm) there is great depth of field despite the small aperture. Instruction manual is included. After many years of being an eBay buyer, I am selling the cameras and photo equipment I have collected over the past forty years. They have not been film tested but appear to function correctly except for the meter. I have disclosed any problems that I am aware of and have tried to act like a fussy sharp-eyed buyer in evaluating the cameras and lenses.
