Description: mini Maroccan tagine used for spices and sauces multicolored and in very good condition. Tagine is cooking vessel named after tagine dish prepared historically by nomads in North Africa. Nomads used the bigger tagines as portable ovens which were made out of red clay. Tagines date back all the way to 9th century during islamic empire and its ruler Harun Al Rashid. Few tiny chips on bowl itself. Sorry i did not focus photos on it but u will notice in photos posted.
