Description: Two-volume set of The Military Telegraph during the Civil War in the United States by William R. Plum. Published in 1882. This set has the turn-of-the-19th-century markings of the Carnegie Library in Yankton, SD. These are chiefly limited to a pocket on the pastedown of the first volume and pencil notation on the title pages. Defects-wise, the hinges of Volume I are cracked and hinges of Volume II starting. Both books have moderate rubbing to boards and wear to edges. Corners are bumped. Interiors are tight and clean. Overall in Good condition for age. A great reading or reference copy.
