I originally bought it for use as an emergency shelter, and it spent most of its time with me packed up in the back of my Honda CRV. I eventually decided I wanted a newer version of this tent in multi-cam and with the carbon fiber spider poles, so that's what I bought. This one, however, has a decided a advantage in more civil settings. it's tan, and although it is a military 3 season tent, it doesn't scream military . It just looks like a tan backpackers tent and is more nondescript. Tent is complete with its essentials and usable, the only items from the kit that it's missing are it's guy-out cords (easily improvised with some 550 paracord). it's ready to use camping, or wherever you need temporary and portable shelter. Tent comes with tent body, rain fly, 6 stakes, aluminum spider poles, 2 patches, and 4 straps to secure the tent to a cot to use it as a bug net. Part of me would like to hang on to it; however, I don't need two tents. One is plenty for my needs so I'm letting this one go.
