Description: MIJ Fender JAPAN 1983 TL52-65 - BLD JV Serial [Modified] Fender Japan TL52-65 - BLD JV Serial 1983 model The Fender Japan JV serial is a popular Japanese vintage model. We have the TL52-65, which was the standard model at the time, in stock. The body is made of 3 pieces of ash (catalog specs), with a maple neck, 7.25" fingerboard radius, Bakelite black guard, and flathead screws, following the traditional Telecaster style. The nut has been replaced, but the frets are original. The front pickup has been replaced with a Gibson humbucker, and the pickup cavity has been roughly zag. The rear pickup has also been replaced (maker unknown), the bridge has also been replaced with a top-load only type with plate (no strings passing through the back), and the saddle is 6-way. The electrical parts have been replaced with pots (CTS x 2), switches (CRL), and capacitors (Vitamin-Q). Since there are many replacement parts, we have set the prices more affordable than the market price. This model was produced 40 years ago, and the sound is powerful, especially the neck. I think the front humbucker modification is also popular, and the base model is a luxurious JV TELE. You can finish the cavity nicely and use your favorite parts, but the playing condition is still good, so it is recommended as a main guitar. Overall there are signs of wear appropriate for the item's age, such as dents and scuffs, and dullness and rust on the hardware parts. The frets are worn and dented, with about 60% remaining, but with a standard string height setup there is no noticeable buzzing or choking. The neck is in good condition and remains straight, and we have confirmed that there is sufficient room on both sides of the truss rod. All second-hand items are thoroughly cleaned and then fully set up.
