Description: This is a first-half of the 1860s stereoview by Middletown, Connecticut photographers Burrows (don’t know first name) & Horace L. Bundy. Image is of Westfield Falls, in Middletown. I came across commentary such as this a couple of times about the falls current condition “Westfield Falls is a beautiful waterfall. Due to its residential location, however, the area around the waterfall has become victim to graffiti and excessive amounts of littering. You can also clearly hear the interstate highway. Hopefully this waterfall will be cleaned up in the near future. If it were, this waterfall would earn an even higher recommendation in this guide.” Offered here is a photograph of the falls before the abuse.
