Jeanne Ross is the creator of "Realistic Expressionism" a new genre in painting by sculpting with pure oils, while combining the past schools of impressionism and post-impressionism. Despite the romantic motif, her brilliant use of color, light and composition capture a certain strength and vitality. She has had numerous solo exhibitions in New York as well as other galleries throughout the United States. The last picture is a photograph taken of the artist at her solo show in the Times Square Hotel. This piece is signed by the artist in the lower right, as well as on the back where it is also dated (1985). It measures 22" X 30" actual painting, 27" X 35" including frame.
