Description: Vintage Wood Carved Chess Set In Wooden Sliding Lid Box Complete RARE 2 1/8 King. Nice set in original box with sliding lid. Set appears to be from the mid 1950s could be slightly newer or slightly older. All pieces are made of wood, kings measure 2 1/8 inches high, box measures 6 x 3 1/2 x 2 inches. Some pieces as pictured have some cracks along the grain from age, these could be fixed easily or leave original and enjoy. No board and these pieces never had any felt on the bottom, you coud add felt if needed. This would be a wonderful vintage set in your chess collection or great as a gift for that chess player in your life.
