The filling used is food grade long grain rice. If you choose a scented pack, the scent is provided via high quality food grade teas. We have found that this type of pack filling retains both heat and cold for up to an hour (will be more or less depending on your microwave, home temp, etc). USES:*Heat up your toes and hands on a chilly day*Use to help relieve tension and stress (I use mine on my forehead and back of neck)*Use to help with sinus pressure from allergies (here I drape across bridge of nose and cheeks)*Place in freezer to use for a boo boo bag or for any spot that needs cold therapy*And much more!
