The antique micro mosaics were made by hand in the late 1800s. The earrings measure roughly 44 mm x 21 mm. There is minimal tesserae loss in any of the mosaics that I can detect (the tiny handmade glass tile pieces). I have added new antiqued leverback hooks, chain, six smooth hand-wrapped Apatite drops so these lovely earrings can be enjoyed today. It was also a famous glass producer, and Italian craftsmen quickly turned their glass making skills to making stunning miniature micro mosaic pictures for their rich visitors.
