Description: 7.5 inch length and 15 inches measured end to end. This necklace was found sealed in a box at an Estate and was most likely never worn. Not perfect, as the glass gold beads between the ceramic palm leaves have taken on a darkening patina. It is a replica of an actual ancient Egyptian necklace from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA). Actual date is unknown. The leaves are fired bisque-like ceramic. The closure is a gold-plated fish with a hook. No signature is on the piece, but a Museum I.D. card is included.
