Description: N.S. Meyer Sword Saber Blade with Eickhorn squirrel logo, made in W Germany measuring 35" overall with a blade length of 29.75". Very good condition showing some age oxidation, a couple of small rust spots. Etched design on blade, both sides, along with top of blade/spine. The ricasso shows a brass PROVED disc with a Star design around it. The opposite side is stamped with NS Meyer Markings with the Eickhorn Squirrel Logo, made in West Germany. Blade is marked, MILLERSBURG MILITARY INSTITUTE, opposite side shows cadet name along with School emblems, etc. A hard to find item. Blade only, no handle. From the 1950-1960's that came from the NS Meyer factory before closing in 1980. MMI was a military boarding school in Millersburg KY that operated from 1893-2014. See our other Items at TR-West
