Description: AUTHENTIC OAXACA HAND LOOMED BLOUSE/ ONE OF A KIND This blouse is totally handmade in Oaxaca by my friend Roberta Ojeda, she lives in tha region of Mexico where women have a tradition of create embroidered pieces since childhood, the result is one of the most exquisite arts of embroider still alive, in times of factory production, is difficult to find hand made ethnic pieces like this one. Oaxacan blouses , tunics and dresses are richer in detail, compared, with Guatemala huipil blouses and more unique than Thailand blouses, because the hand made tradition is lost in Thailand in favor of the mass production of embroidery in machines. My friend Roberta leaves in a little rural town Mexico, with almost not access to world markets, that is why I am listing her art, helping she to put her things out in consideration of public like you, who love handmade items. The blouse is pink with lilac and white stripes and accents, hand loomed in waist telar or loom, not sleeves, fitted with unfinished hem that looks like modern tassels.
