Description: New CD, Polish release Metallica Announces Release of 3D Film Soundtrack 'Metallica Through The Never'. The two-disc release will be released on the band's own label, Blackened Recordings, on 24 September 2013. The album will feature recordings recorded during concerts at Rexall Palace in Edmonton and at Rogers Arena in Vancouver last year, when the band filmed performances appearing in the film. The soundtrack is now available digitally! The album will also be available on 33 1⁄3rpm vinyl, including a limited numbered version (45rpm). “Not only are we excited about the movie coming soon, but also the fact that we will be able to share music in all these formats,” said Lars Ulrich. Metallica, one of the most popular rock bands, will star in the film 'Metallica Through the Never'. In a music-packed 3D film, award-winning director Nimrod Antal will take audiences on a musical journey with Metallica's most famous songs in the background. The film follows the story of a band member named Trip (played by Dane DeHaan) who is sent on an urgent mission during a sold-out Metallica concert. The film features stunning pyrotechnic effects, the most complex concert stage ever built, and a 3D image shot simultaneously by 24 cameras. The film will be shown to viewers in the United States on 27 September 2013 at IMAX theaters and on 4 October at other theaters.
