The necklace has beautiful small blue Krobo with an evil eye design. This tiny evil eye is used to ward off evil. Although i am not superstitious, i do love this pattern that is so prevalent in African art. The wood beads are very beautiful as they have dark wood grain against the lighter color wood. I did put a clear coat on them so you can clean the piece with a warm damp wash cloth, as you can with all my work. The small cream colored spacer beads are bone beads, probably cow or species Bos Taurus. I used .45 heavy wire with a nylon coating.
