Description: MENDOCINO BREWING RED TAIL ALE RED HAWK draft beer tap handle. Hopland, Ukiah, California. Brewing fine craft beer since 1983. It was the first brew pub to open in California since Prohibition was repealed. Closed after 35 years in 2018. Sad indeed. Red Tail Ale. 6.1%ABV. Hazy red amber. Sweet malt start with notes of pine. Tap is listed as used. It may have been but they took great care of it. Excellent condition. Most are seen with several chips and scratches and wrinkled labels. This one is very clean. One of their earlier pieces for a beer that was first brewed in 1996. Bright red with piercing eyes and sharp claws. A fierce and stealthy hunter in the wild. Focused. Sitting motionless waiting for the unsuspecting rabbit or squirrel. Very heavy. Weighs over one pound! Stands a feather aver 9 inches tall. Tap has been turned and rotated till all sides are shown.
