Description: Here is a really neat heirloom book of Mendelssohn Songs Without Words, opus 19, songs 1-49. This is a hardbound book printed in 1893 By Schirmer. Condition is "Used" because it is pre-owned but there doesn’t seem to be writing in it. The binding is loose, and the back cover has some color blemishes as though it sat on a wet spot or something, and there is some damage to the top of the spine (see photo) - shelf worn, I guess, but after all it is nearly 100 years old. The only thing that shows that someone used this book at all is that there is a neat typewritten poem tucked into the front cover. Other than that, the book does not appear used. There is a nice bio of Mendelssohn at the beginning. Shipped with USPS Media Mail FREE in the US.
