Description: Melodia is a mohair blend yarn, with 30% mohair, 50% acrylic, 10% wool and 10% polyamide. It is a 50 gram ball with approximately 120 yards. Made in Germany by Schachenmayr/Nomatta Gauge is 25 rows and 17 stitches to 4 inches. Lable says using a size 3.5 to 4 needle. I believe this is European sizing, so would convert to about a size 6 American. Size 6 looks right based upon the yarn size. The yarn has a bit of an acrylic thread intertwined in the blending. Some balls have lost their little sticky labels, but all are new, untouched balls.
