Description: Meissen Relief Molded Gold & White Biedermeier Rococo Scrollwork Serving Bowl. It measures 12 5/8" x 9 1/4" and 2 3/4" high. Bottom has Meissen crossed swords mark, with 2 lines through it, denoting a 2nd quality. There is 1 split in the reticulated area, done in the making, not damage, which is the only reason it was not deemed 1st quality, see pics. There are no chips or cracks. , but there are 2 super tiny and shallow flakes to the underside of rim, really un-noticeable unless hunted for. A nice original 19th C. piece.
