Description: Meissen Emil Paul Borner Art Deco Gold & White Rimmed Soup Plate C. 1924-1934 Nice Art Deco rimmed soup plate / rimmed soup bowl designed by Emil Paul Börner. White with two gold bands along the inner rim of the plate. Marked on the bottom with the underglaze blue crossed sword mark used by Meissen between 1924 and 1934. Has some wear to the gilding and usage wear consistent with age, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 9 1/2 inches wide x 1 1/2 inches tall.
