Description: MEC 600, 700, Mark V 2-3/4 or 3" Shotshell Reloading Press Support Tube Post 82New, old Stock, no Package. For single stage MEC reloading presses made after 1982. They will have these support tubes with INTERNAL threads at the top whereas the earlier ones have all external threads top and bottom. When used with later (current) sizer rings it can be used for both 2-3/4" and 3" shells. It has more threads than the older tubes so the current sizer rings, which also have a lot of threads can be adjusted 1/4" up and down to do both lengths. See last photos. The sizer ring shown is NOT included. FYI, if you are considering converting an older MEC press from 2-3/4" to 3" an economical and easy way to do the sizer station is to buy a current issue sizer ring instead of the very expensive and hard to find long support tube. You won't be able to adjust it to the 2-3/4" shells, however, because the older support tubes don't have enough thread. Note that I discount shipping on multiple items where possible and practical.
