The prints in this series are printed on what is called rag paper, an antique paper that is stronger and far more enduring than the newspaper material we use today. No foxing or folds (except for centerfold). A really fine image. Excellent definition. Nice clean, sharp lines, and wide margins. (Note: There are no holes at the centerfold, which is very unusual for these large two page prints. Small margin tear at lower edge. Very small split at mid-centerfold.) This two-page centerfold print is about 135 years old and guaranteed to be original. It is an authentic old print from the aforementioned newspaper and NOT A MODERN REPRODUCTION.The print, including the white border (if any) is about 16" x 22".
