Description: Vintage Large Glass Cookie Jar Apothecary Jar with Teak Wood Lid This is a really nice Vintage Large Glass Cookie Jar Canister With Teak Wood Lid Ball Knob. A sizable glass canister with a thick, chunky Teak wood lid made by Dolphin in the mid to late 1970s. It is quite large, I believe it holds about a gallon. Marked Genuine Teak Thailand on the bottom of the lid. It's a cookie jar, in reality, but it's just as practical and versatile for storing dry pantry or kitchen staples, assorted treats, or displaying a collection of soaps, utensils, or ephemera in a powder or laundry room. Would be great to use in a store display. The wood lid lacks a rubber or plastic stopper to prevent air from seeping in and there are a couple of minor scuffs in the wood (see photos). Any wear is commensurate with its age.
